Operation | This pump uses an automatically controlled electric motor to drive a piston to deliver the medication. The motor gives a rotational motion that turns into a linear motion. Linear motion controls the speed and amount of pressure. If drug quantities are known, the device adapts its linear velocity and pressure to the required flow rate. |
